My name is Jade Somoza-Norton (any pronouns). I am an audio and recording engineer, a musician of 14 years (classically trained in both B-flat clarinet and bass clarinet), amateur photographer, and mixed media artist.

As an audio engineer, my technical proficiency is always elevating. Currently, I am REFINING MY SKILLS under lien do and Grace coleman at Different Fur Studios, a legacy studio located in the Mission District of SF. I have great respect for being part of the sensitivity that comes with capturing sound and the creative expression of the artists I have the privilege of collaborating with. I especially enjoy recording in a studio environment, using a large-format console, and mixing in Pro Tools.

My prized pastime is being outside, venturing through forests, trails, parks, beaches, and fields. On the other hand, my luxurious interests include playing pinball, whether it's loosely competitive or solo, cooking for others, or creating music for personal projects. I always prioritize being involved in my local community and showing up at any opportunity, which, being in the Bay, is rich with action and constantly being connected to people who care.
